Robert Solomon

Born and raised in Tampa, Florida, Robert Solomon went to Hillel School of Tampa for his secondary education and to Tampa Preparatory for High School where he debated as a member of the National Forensics League and played first seed for the school tennis team. In addition, he studied 5 summers at the Interlochen Center of the Arts majoring in violin performance and visual arts. He would later work with high school division students at Interlochen for seven summers. After high school, he matriculated to Cornell University where he graduated Cum Laude in American Studies and with Distinction In All Subjects. In addition to his major, he studied with an emphasis on creative writing and published short fiction. He also served as a managing editor and columnist for the Cornell American.

After graduating from Cornell in 1993, Robert moved to Washington DC where he worked at the Woodrow Wilson Foundation of International Studies as a research fellow. He worked with Israelis and Palestinians on working towards peace and trying to define the rights of indigenous peoples. In addition, he taught SATs for Princeton Review, helped high school students with applications, not limited to but including editing essays to colleges and universities, and taught LSATS to prospective law students. After nearly 3 years, he commenced his legal studies at the New York University School of Law with an emphasis in civil litigation and federal taxation. He participated and won a mock federal criminal defense trial and wrote his “A Paper” (thesis) on Law and Sociology, specifically on how Emile Durkheim would interpret the opposing factions during the colonial and constitutional periods of the colonies and the United States.

In 2007, seven years after completing his legal education, he took and passed the Florida bar. During those years, Robert developed, designed, and managed several small businesses and invested in commercial real estate. Robert’s entrepreneurial experience provides him the unique knowledge to assist business clients’ myriad of needs. As an attorney, he works in the fields of health care law, creditors’ rights as well as transactional business law.
